CarsIreland.ie the leading car classified website in the Irish market has moved up a gear with the introduction of a new service where users can now view each car’s running costs.

The new feature allows users to see running cost data on each used car listed on the site. Unique to CarsIreland.ie, it includes how many miles to the gallon the car is capable of and what the annual tax will be.

The data was included due to changes in consumer behaviour following soaring fuel prices and changes to the motor tax system whereby annual tax is now linked to the cars emissions.

‘In the past buyers were mainly concerned with brand, price and mileage but now they want to know how many miles to the gallon the car is capable of and what the annual tax will be’, said Mick Dillon, MD of CarsIreland.ie.
