Kinetic’25 a major collision industry event for Ireland and the UK, proved to be a great success when it took place at the Telford International Centre, at the start of September.

The two day conference and exhibition attracted stakeholders from various sectors of the industry, including repairers, insurance companies and OEMs. It provided an opportunity for the many attending to exchange knowledge and information, foster collaborative partnerships and gain an insight into new technologies and services that will help to meet customer needs more effectively in the future.

At the main conference there was an impressive line-up of guest speakers with well known motoring journalist and TV presenter, Quentin Wilson, hosting. Chris McKie, CEO of the Vizion Group, which organised the event, was also on hand to provide an overview of the market and the success that the Vizion group has enjoyed over recent years.

Under the theme of “infinite possibilities”, the huge auditorium also saw presentations from leaders from the insurance industry, paint companies and vehicle manufacturers, as well as lively panel debates with representatives from all sectors of the industry.

Away from the main conference, there was a very interesting mix of exhibitors across two exhibition halls. These included leading product, equipment and service providers from the bodyshop industry, as well as vehicle manufacturers with an impressive line-up of cars. There was also a selection of classic cars on display, as well as various competitions. An informal evening event provided plenty of opportunities for networking.

There were many influential attendees from the Irish bodyshop sector including bodyshop owners and managers, vehicle distributors and refinish suppliers. Frank Byrnes of Vizion Ireland and the rest of the Vizion team were on hand to show visitors around the exhibition and introduce them to some of the speakers and key service providers.
