A used car dealer in Darragh, Co. Clare is appealing for information after six cars were stolen from its premises in the early hours of Friday August 22nd. 

Kenneth Hynes of Optimum Autos has appealed for information on social media and offered a reward for any information leading to recovery. 

One car, a BMW 1 Series, was found abandoned close by, however, still missing are; a 2014 blue Audi S3 Saloon, 2017 navy Mercedes CLA180, 2015 black Volkswagen Golf, 2014 white Volkswagen Golf and a 2018 white Toyota CHR. 

Kenneth commented, "If you were travelling on the route from Ennis to Limerick last night (August 22) and have dash cam footage, please review it for any unusual activity. Any information, no matter how small, could help. Please contact us directly if you can assist on 083 115 8450. Alternatively, you can also reach out to Ennis Garda Station. We greatly appreciate your support and assistance." 

Gardaí are also appealing for witnesses. Dash cam footage of particular interest is from the N68 between 1am and 5am on Friday, August 22nd. Investigations are on-going and Gardai have asked other business owners and motorist to be extra vigilant.
