Bradys Cavan hosted an evening with several sporting icons last Friday (27th of September), at their newly renovated showroom on the Dublin Road in Cavan town officially celebrating their appointment as a dealer for both SEAT and ŠKODA.

In attendance were SEAT brand ambassador and former Munster and New Zealand rugby star Dougie Howlett as well as Paudie Maher, Tipperary Hurler and ŠKODA brand ambassador. These two stars were joined by former Cavan footballer Dermot McCabe, Meath footballing legend Colm O'Rourke and current Cavan footballer Killian Clarke all of whom took part in a Q & A session hosted by Paul Collins from Today FM and ŠKODA brand ambassador Kristeen O'Sullivan.

Speaking at the opening night, dealer principal, Tomás Brady said, "We are delighted to celebrate our appointment as the newest SEAT and ŠKODA dealer with tonight's event. It is has been a fantastic evening for sports fans and we would like to thank all of our customers and friends for coming out to support us".

Earlier this month, Bradys Cavan were appointed sales and aftersales dealers for both the ŠKODA and SEAT brands. Cavan motorists can now test drive the latest ŠKODA and SEAT models at their dealership on the Dublin road. Bradys Cavan have been based in Cavan Town since 1967 and provide their customers with a state-of-the-art facility, excellent motor expertise and unrivalled customer service.

Synonymous with the motor industry on the border, midlands and Dublin areas, Bradys opened its doors back in 1961 as Brady's Arva. This was closely followed by Bradys Cavan in 1967 and Bradys Dublin in 1973, who celebrate 40 years in business later this year.

Commenting on the appointment Dealer Principal Tomás Brady said "We are extremely proud and thrilled to bring these two major brands back to the Cavan area and are looking forward to showcasing the ŠKODA and SEAT ranges to our customers. The addition of the ŠKODA and SEAT brands will also provide a real boost to our business and we are planning to add 8 new positions to our dealership over the next 2 years".

Also commenting John Donegan, Director of ŠKODA Ireland said "Extending our dealer network and welcoming Brady's Cavan on board underpins a really exciting year for SKODA. We are marking 20 years in business in Ireland and are undertaking one of the biggest model launch programmes in the company's 117 year history. Working with the team at Brady's is something we are really looking forward to and we feel it will create greater awareness of what the ŠKODA range has to offer as well as getting more SKODAs on the road in the Cavan area."

Cian O'Brien Director of SEAT Ireland added "SEAT is undergoing a renaissance as a brand both in Ireland and internationally. Achieving record market share of 3%, SEAT is the fastest growing car brand in Ireland. We are also delighted to have Bradys on board to showcase our new range. Tomás and his team have shown over the years that they understand exactly what their customers are looking for; excellent service and great value for money and this is really important to us at SEAT."
