ProLux have introduced a universal winching and recovery bar for Heavy

Goods Vehicles. The new device enables operators to effect damage free recovery of MAN, Volvo, Scania, DAF, Renault and Iveco vehicles and even the new Actros from Mercedes Benz.

Connected to the two original towing eyes on the HGV, the winching bar distributes the load, enabling a recovery even on slight slopes without damaging the chassis of the vehicle. Shackles are included and there are two options: slings or chains.

The equipment is approved to recover loads of up to 40 ton and is suitable for towing eye spreads from 590mm to 1200mm. Max.load when using the recovery eyes of the device is 40ton and 5 ton when using the shunting eye of the device. Max.load when lifting is 8 ton.

For more information contact Tony Ogden at ProLux-Systemtechnik on 049-07304-9695-100 or visit www.towing.de.
