Hyundai Ireland has announced record sales, in the history of the company on the Irish market, achieved during the month of January 2015.


Hyundai chiefs say that it is now the best-selling car brand in 4 car categories. The Hyundai i10 is the bestseller in the A car segment, the Hyundai i40 tops the D car segment, the Hyundai IX35 leads the Mid-size SUV segment and the Hyundai Santa Fe is the top model in the Large SUV segment

The all New Hyundai i20 has met with unprecedented demand in Hyundai dealer showrooms since its launch in December. To date, Hyundai has seen an increase of 40% in i20 sales and is forecasting an increase of 100% in sales of i20 by the end of 2015.

Hyundai’s record sales performance in January, coupled with continued marketing investment in the brand, provides a solid base from which to grow sales and achieve an overall market share of 9.5% on the Irish market by the end of 2015.
