Honda’s popular Jazz supermini has been named the Most Reliable Car in the Auto Express Driver Power survey, with an impressive reliability score of 98 per cent.
Up 1.2 per cent on 2013, the Honda Jazz climbed two places to take the top podium finish in this year’s results. The 2014 Auto Express Driver Power survey asked more than 50,000 car owners to rate their cars in ten different categories including reliability, performance, road handling and practicality. The Honda Accord was also placed highly, with a score of 95 per cent, earning fourth place in the build quality category.
Adrian Cole, Managing Director, Universal Honda commented; “This is great news for Honda and a testament to the great cars we build. The Jazz has always been a strong performer in terms of reliability and customer satisfaction, and the 2014 Auto Express Driver Power Survey award further reinforces the success of the car".
Meanwhile, for the third year running, Honda has been voted the ‘Most Trusted’ car manufacturer by new car buyers in a survey by influential motoring publication Kelley Blue Book for their 2014 Brand Image Award study.
‘Building a reputation for trust is something which takes many years and is built through our customers' experiences with our cars. At Honda we have always been committed to delivering class-leading vehicles that provide lasting enjoyment and value to our customers through quality, dependability and reliability.’ said Emmet Kavanagh, Marketing Manager of Universal Honda Ltd. ‘Honda simply embraces the challenge of being a brand that people can trust.’
