FIAT Group Automobiles Ireland is delighted to officially announce the appointment of Dan Seaman Motors as sales and aftersales partner in the south of Ireland.

Dan Seaman Motors will be the exclusive retail agent for all FIAT Group brands in the Cork region, representing FIAT, Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Jeep and FIAT Professional.

Located on Forge Hill, Dan Seaman Motors' freshly revamped sales and service facility is easily accessed from Cork's M40 South Ring Road, just off the N27 Kinsale Road. Now with more than 2,400m2 of floor space over two floors, an impressive 50 vehicles can be displayed in comfortable indoor surroundings at any time - including the full range of FIAT Professional vans and pickups - with capacity for another 100 vehicles in the grounds of dealership.

To commemorate the official announcement of Dan Seaman Motors as all-brand representative in the area and to mark the opening of the dealership's newly-refurbished showrooms, a special event was held at the dealership yesterday evening (July 2, 2014) attended by friends and loyal customers of Dan Seaman Motors, FIAT Ireland Country Director Gerry Clarke and special guest and local GAA hero Jimmy Barry-Murphy. The evening was also the first occasion that the all-new Jeep Cherokee and Alfa Romeo 4C supercar have been on display in an Irish showroom.

The highlight of the event was the FIAT 500L raffle prize draw. The car, which was donated by Dan Seaman Motors to Marymount University Hospital & Hospice in Cork, was won by Niall Kelleher of Aherla, Co. Cork, with proceeds from the raffle raising almost €40,000 for the facility. Marymount University Hospital & Hospice provides respite care, intermediate palliative care and continuing care for older people and is funded by a combination of state funding and, increasingly, donations.
