Also based in the new facility will be a service centre with 6 work bays, ensuring that customer's needs including; maintenance, repairs, vehicle testing as well as parts supply will be met. The new on-site offering will include service plus standards such as flexible opening hours which is part of the brand's promise to ensure customer's vehicles can be serviced when they're not working.

Ciaran O'Riordan, Group Sales Director of Brightstone Group said "We welcome this exciting opportunity to work with the team at Volkswagen Group and to support them in building a dedicated Commercial Vehicle Centre for North Dublin. Initially operating from our East Wall Road site we look forward to the relocation to our purpose built facility at Airside a year from now. Trading as Volkswagen Van Centre North Dublin, an experienced team led by David Kinna, our Volkswagen Brand Director will service the specialist commercial vehicle market, providing an unbeatable range of commercial vehicles with an after sales service that will be unrivalled. Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles gives us a new offering alongside our other Airside brands and will capitalise on our existing experience in the commercial vehicle market. We look forward to welcoming new and existing Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle customers to our East Wall Road premises on 1st September."

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Managing Director, Alan Bateson, said: "We have put a lot of time and effort into securing the best possible representation for our brand in Dublin, and have every confidence that Ciaran O'Riordan and his colleagues will now deliver the industry-leading quality of service that our customers have come to expect. Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has seen enormous growth and success over the last few years, and we want all our retail sites to reflect the quality, style, and comfort that has become synonymous with the brand. To support this, we need our customers to experience the best sales, both new and used, conversion, financing and aftersales solutions. We look forward to working well with the Brightstone Group and I have no doubt that they will deliver this for us in their new facility."
