Axalta Coating Systems, the parent organisation behind the DuPont, Standox and Spies Hecker paint brands, has been ranked as the fifth largest coatings supplier in the world by an influential industry survey. This is the first time the fast developing company has appeared in this top five ranking. 

The rankings were published in Coatings World magazine’s  Top Companies Report, which profiled 83 coatings companies based on 2012 revenues reported or converted into US dollars.  This is the first year that Axalta has appeared in the annual Top Companies Report since becoming an independent company earlier in the year.

Axalta’s liquid and powder coating brands are sold in 130 countries, produced in 35 manufacturing centres on six continents.
