REPXPERT regulars Simon Cooper, Tim Adams and Alistair Mason hosted Schaeffler’s first ‘Tea-break Training’ of the year in a session that focused on the company’s comprehensive REPXPERT support programme.

“REPXPERT is all about information,” said Schaeffler Technical Manager and REPXPERT, Alistair Mason, “which means that alongside the products that we supply, we need to provide the information required to make sure workshops can fit parts correctly, but information is always changing. So, the transfer of information is a constantly evolving process and that’s why we have REPXPERT as our fourth brand.”

The team then went on explain the many elements that are brought together to make up the REPXPERT concept, which is available through an online portal and convenient mobile App.

These include technical data and comprehensive repair information – such as vehicle manufacturers’ (VMs) job times and service schedules, to ensure workshops can accurately quote for work and are fully able to carry out all the individual activities specified by the VMs in their scheduled service plans etc. There is also a library of downloadable product training and videos, along with the comprehensive TecDoc catalogue, all of which can be accessed by simply scanning the Schaeffler product label. Finally, the team touched upon the REPXPERT Bonus Shop loyalty programme and the live training events the team hope to be hosting throughout the year.

“It was clear from the feedback provided by many of the online attendees, that they were amazed and impressed as to how much of the vital information they use on a daily basis is available from this one, free resource,” said Simon following the event. “We knew that we couldn’t share everything the portal has to offer in one 45-minute session, but we certainly gave them a great overview and also found time for Tim to share his legendary knowledge with some live timing system installation tip.”

Registration links for future ‘Tea-break Training’ sessions will be made available on the REPXPERT website, as well as via social media posts and newsletters sent to members, plus anybody who has attended a Schaeffler REPXPERT Academy or AutoInform LIVE event.

Information on Schaeffler products, fitting instructions, labour times and much more can be found on the REPXPERT workshop portal – www.repxpert.co.uk – the REPXPERT app, or by calling the Schaeffler REPXPERT hotline on 0044 872 737 0037.
