Autoinform LIVE, returned to Ireland at the weekend with mechanics and garage owners flocking to the RDS on Saturday and Sunday, to take part in the country’s largest every automotive aftermarket training event. Expert automotive trainers delivered some enlightening, engaging and entertaining training seminars on a wide variety of subjects, while those attending also had the chance to relax and socialise at the Saturday evening dinner.
The event was organised by the Original Equipment Suppliers Aftermarket Association (OESAA) and despite the challenges of the on-going COVID situation, it was extremely well attended.
Delegates enjoyed a combination of practical demonstrations provided by automotive trainers and technical specialists from OE parts and system suppliers. Technical subjects covered included, diagnostics, thermal management, battery technology, auxiliary belt systems, EVs, brake and chassis technology A/C systems, double clutch, timing belts and much more. Other session provided guidance on techniques to make garages more efficient and more profitable.
The reaction from those attending was very positive, with all saying they found the two days both very beneficial for their workshop and very enjoyable. The event also provided a great opportunity for mechanics and garage owners to meet like minded individuals from all over Ireland as well as engage with some of Europe’s top aftermarket experts.
