Thinking of making the switch to electric, but find the current styling of EVs a little bland? Then take a look at this.

Electric classic-car conversion specialists Lunaz Design have taken an Aston Martin DB6, one of the most iconic designs of all time and not only made it all electric, but also added many other eco-conscious features.

Lunaz Design is a UK firm that specialise in converting classic cars to run on battery powered electricity. All the cars feature a standard EV powertrain as well as fast charging capability and regenerative braking. This DB6 version produces 375bhp and offers a range of around 400km.

The car is currently at concept stage and features an interior designed to be totally sustainable based on many recycled materials. For example, instead of wood, the dash and trim are made from nut and egg shells and bound together with an organic glue, while apple pomace replaces leather. The rest of the interior features recycled cotton and regenerated nylon from fishing nets and carpet.

The company says that the concept is production ready. However, while the car may be sustainable, the budget will not be for most with a price tag of around €1 million.
