Laser Tools has introduced a new user-friendly battery and alternator tester, suitable for use on both 12V and 24V DC systems. It features an easy-to-read LED display that provides quick and accurate power output readings. This makes it easy to determine if there are issues with either the battery or the alternator.

Used with the engine running, the tester (part number 8873),  is simply connected with the black crocodile clip to a suitable earth point, then the user presses the red positive probe onto the battery positive terminal.  It offers two alternator readings: alternator over-charging and alternator OK (13.5V), as well as three battery status readings: Good (over 75%), Fair ( over 25%), and Poor (less than 25%).

It is also fitted with a large magnetic strip on the rear of the tester, to allow for it to be attached to the inside of the engine bay or bonnet, for hands-free operation. It is supplied with an 820mm red positive test lead with probe and a black negative test lead with crocodile clip.

The new tester is now available from your Laser Tools stockist.
