Ring Automotive says its new wiper blade system with a single clip attachment and high spec beam blade is set to change the market for wiper replacements. The unique patent pending design has ‘one clip for easy fit’, which allows workshops and retailers to stock just 16 SKUs to cover 95% of the market.

Automotive aftermarket specialist Ring has over 20 years’ experience providing high spec blades to the transport sector, supplying over 1 million blades a year. Ring has now developed a single clip system, which will allow businesses to hold less stock onsite and improve service to end users. This the company points out will improve cash flow, decreasing storage and display requirements and making it easier for staff to supply the correct blade for customers.

Ring also say that installation is easier, presenting an opportunity to offer installation for an extra profit with minimal training and knowledge required for staff, who no longer have to cross reference car makes and models with the correct blade as they can simply select the correct length and fit. The universal clip comes already attached to the beam blade. There are display options available, with freestanding and hanging points of sale on offer, as well as a fitting video to aid installation.

Simon Harvey, Head of Product Management at Ring, says, "The clip on Ultravision blades is unique in the market and offers clear benefits for workshops and retailers that have previously held a large quantity of wiper blades to meet the needs of their customers. We’ve combined a more efficient business solution with high performance blades to make this a proposition that makes sense for business owners and motorists alike. This simpler system cuts down on time spent locating and fitting blades, while reducing the quantity of stock needed to be held.”

Ultravision blades also feature high specification, durable PTFE rubber with silent glide technology, which reduces surface friction, increases abrasion resistance and eliminates stick slip. The blades are quiet and give streak-free, clear glass for superior vision when driving.
