Automotive lighting and accessories specialist, Ring, has added to its range of Ultra Bright LED Inspection Lamps, with the launch of the new AL3.

Ideal for mechanics, technicians and car enthusiasts alike, the AL3 inspection lamp has many of the features of the highly successful Al5 range. The COB LED technology provides 240 lumens of light output and a 6000K colour temperature, which simulates the illuminating effects of natural daylight.

Designed with the professional working environment in mind, the lamp has a tough robust aluminium and rubber construction, is rechargeable and cordless. The integral hanging hook, multi-angle mechanism, anti-slip comfort grip, magnetic base and AC mains charging adaptor all support ease of use.

Henry Bisson, Marketing Manager from Ring says, "We know that when it comes to vehicle mechanics, there is always a need for more light, particularly when they are trying to work on smaller sections of a vehicle or dark and complicated engine compartments. The Al3 lamp offers fantastic light coverage and has a toughened glass optical lens and a concave construction, allowing the lens to stay protected, this gives the user peace of mind knowing that the lamp will withstand daily use even in the toughest of environments.

Henry points out that the lamp is available in 3 colours as a personal choice for mechanics or to choose the colour that is more identifiable in a dark workshop.

As well as the standard AL3 lamp there is also an AL3CRI (colour Rending Index) version. The CRI95 LED chip allows mechanics and bodyshop technicians to identify scratches and minor imperfections in paint work. The 200 lumens output with a 4500K colour temperature still makes the lamp ideal for inspection and mechanical work.
