From the start of October Mondial Assistance Ireland, a leading provider of recovery and roadside assistance services will be operating under the new trading name of Allianz Global Assistance. The move will align the company’s brand with its parent, the Allianz Group. Mondial Assistance Ireland has been part of the Allianz Group of companies for over ten years.

Currently one of the country’s largest assistance companies for the automotive and travel insurance industries, Mondial Assistance Ireland employs thirty-nine people at its Sandyford Head Office in Dublin. Its client base includes car manufacturers such as BMW, Volkswagen and Kia Motors, along with travel companies such as e-Bookers.

Serge Corel, CEO of Allianz Global Assistance in the UK and Ireland, says, “This is an exciting move for us, as we continue to build upon our position as part of the largest assistance company in the world. We remain focused on helping our clients deliver effective and innovative solutions for their customers.”

Roland Hesse, Country Manager for Ireland with Allianz Global Assistance said:  “Over the past year, we have been working closely with our teams, suppliers and our clients across the automotive, insurance and travel industries to ensure a successful and seamless transition to Allianz Global Assistance. Our clients will continue to benefit from our transparent branding enabling products and services to be delivered under their own brand. Alternatively, they can now adopt the new Allianz Global Assistance brand for the very first time in Ireland.”
