Spies Hecker has announced dates for five key training courses which can help customers maximise the benefits of using Spies Hecker products and services. Each course will run several times throughout 2014 providing refinishers with great opportunities to broaden there range of skills.


Daniel Hartland, Spies Hecker Brand Marketing Coordinator, comments, “These courses are very well received. Feedback from past attendees has been overwhelmingly positive and the recently added three-stage paint systems course has proven extremely popular. With more OEMs using these types of finishes it is essential for refinishers to be fully trained in this area.”

The three-stage paint systems course is designed to provide technicians with comprehensive knowledge of the correct application process and is open to all experienced refinishers. It will take place on 14 / 15 May 2014 and 8 / 9 October 2014.
Other Spies Hecker training courses available include:

Product System Technology – A two day course to develop skills and understanding of the requirements for waterborne and high-solid refinish technologies. This will be held on 15 / 16 April, 16 / 17 July, 30 / 31 October and 8 / 9 December 2014.

Colour College  - A Two-day course to introduce delegates to the importance of colour matching and the techniques used to the highest levels of accuracy. Dates: 6 / 7 May, 13 / 14 August and 3 / 4 December 2014.

Speed Repair – A one-day course to develop skills via the use of practical demonstrations in the lucrative area of Speed Repairs. Dates: 19 May, 26 August and 13 November 2014

ColorDialog – A one day course on the use of the ColorDialog spectrophotometer. Dates: 26 March, 11 June, 24 September and 15 December 2014.

ATA Assessments will also be held on various days throughout the year. All courses will take place at the Spies Hecker Training Academy, Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire UK.
