Oils and lubricants were attracting lots of interest at Automechanika Frankfurt, reflecting the fast pace at which lubricant technology is developing to cope with the needs of the latest vehicle engines. One of the busiest oil supplier stands was Wolf lubricants, reflecting its fast growing popularity in the European market.

The Wolf Lubricants range was recently introduced to the Serfac product line-up in Ireland and the Serfac team were on the Wolf stand keen to see the latest product developments. This included the in-demand Wolf Official Tech OW20 C6F, a full synthetic lubricant mandatory for the newest engines requiring ACEA C6. It is developed to prolong the life and maintain the efficiency of emission systems and delivers outstanding engine cleanliness, wear protection and strong durability to keep engines running like new. The oil meets the newest FORD WWS-M2C952-A1 specification which is needed for the recent FORD Ecoblue diesel engines.

Also attracting great interest was OW30 MS-FFE, a full synthetic lubricant based on carefully selected base oils, mandatory for the EURO 6 TDCI Duratorq engines of the most recent Ford models (2014 >) with exhaust after treatment and turbocharger. The high-tech VI-improver provides high stability to ensure long oil drain intervals.  It also addresses the use of biofuels, has special elastomer compatibility and anti-chain wear characteristics. The oil is also suitable for engines requiring a 0W30 viscosity grade and the ACEA C2 performance.

These oils and the rest of the Wolf Oil lubricant and coolant line-up are distributed in Ireland by Serfac and available from factor stockists.
