The Original Equipment Suppliers Automotive Association (OESAA) stand at Automechanika Birmingham was a buzz of activity throughout the three day event. Located at the very heart of the show in Hall 9 the stand presented a contrast between a high quality workshop fitting OE parts and a dirty unprofessional garage fitting inferior parts.

Visitors to the stand could talk to experts from various OESAA members about the importance of original parts quality and also had the chance to win some great prizes including an OESAA Garage Make Over, tickets to the Goodwood Festival of Speed and many more.

The stand also featured presentations from industry consultant, Andy Sava about the benefits in terms of profitability and quality of fitting OE parts and the hidden cost of using inferior parts in terms in breakages, increased labour time and damage to reputation. Andy was formerly a successful independent garage owner whose award winning Burnswick Garage established a new benchmark for service quality in the independent sector.

Under the strap line “OE Parts Fit Bang On” the stand also featured performances by a contemporary drumming band who created some great tunes using automotive components as their percussion instruments.
