Peugeot rally ace Craig Breen visited the recent National Ploughing Championships at Ratheniska, Stradbally, Co. Laois and showed his impressive driving skills when he smashed time records on a F1 racing simulator on the busy TOTAL stand.
The Peugeot Sport driver was watched by a large group of spectators as he completed a lap of Silverstone in an amazing 1 minute 38 seconds, the fastest time recorded in the world over an eighteen month period. The racing simulator has travelled throughout Ireland, the UK, Europe and the US this year, appearing at shows and exhibitions with thousands laps completed.
Sean Holland, Managing Director at Finol Oils Limited, Distributors of TOTAL products in Ireland said, "The National Ploughing Championships 2013 were a massive success with record crowds in attendance and we had a very busy three days meeting and greeting customers. Craig Breen's visit to our stand was a real highlight. His following in Ireland is ever-growing as his successes mount and it was a real treat to watch him break the time record effortlessly."
Craig, Irish International Driver of the Year 2012 and Super World Rally Championship winner 2012, landed the Peugeot Sport Factory Driver title earlier this year. Racing in eight European Rally Championship events this year in a Peugeot 207 S2000, he has led an intensive test programme for the new Peugeot 208T16. A Peugeot brand ambassador, Craig has a strong bright future ahead of him with the Peugeot brand.
