TMD Friction, via its Mintex brand, has launched a new website https://mintex.com/mintex-racing/ dedicated to its racing heritage and high-performance products and offering an insight into Mintex motorsport success for over 100 years.

With a winning formula stretching back to the 1920s, Mintex Racing Brake pads deliver proven performance on a daily basis. Developed and engineered by TMD Friction and used by some of the world’s very best drivers, Mintex has helped many teams to victory, from Mike Hawthorn in 1955 at Le Mans, Stirling Moss and Tony Brooks at the British Grand Prix at Aintree in 1957 and Colin McRae at the First WRC Event in 1987, to all drivers in the 2021 Mini Challenge, which supports the BTCC.

Every Mintex Racing compound is subject to over 1000 hours of dyno and on-track testing on some of Europe’s most demanding circuits and rally stages. As part of TMD Friction, Mintex Racing is backed by world-renowned research and development facilities, working with technical partners and drivers operating at the forefront of motorsport and performance tuning.

The Mintex Racing website provides an insight into this history and offers users an application guide to find the right spec for their vehicle. Other features of the new website include downloadable bedding-in guides to ensure maximum performance, downloadable specification sheets for all the racing compounds and a search option to find the nearest distributor with the ‘Find Your Dealer’ section.
