Manbat, the founding battery distribution business within the ECOBAT Technologies Group, enjoyed a very successful Automechanika Birmingham show. With a constant stream of visitors around the impressive stand viewing the range of high quality batteries and their related accessories and installation tools.

The battery experts were also part of the much praised seminar programme, where National Sales Manager, Dave Morgan and Business Development Manager, John Bentley gave a presentation explaining how the developments in battery technology have directly impacted the technician. They spoke of how the days of the five minute battery change are now gone and explained why the correct battery choice is now imperative. Fitting a new technology battery can take several hours and the battery needs to be ‘introduced’ into the vehicle’s control systems or drivers could be left stranded.

Speaking about the exhibition, Manbat’s Marketing Manager, Myles Pemberton said,“We certainly saw a lot of people interested on our stand because we have so many great brands such as Numax, Lucas and US Batteries. Visitors also showed great interested in our company because we’re also part of ECOBAT, the world’s leading producer and recycler of lead.”
