German oil and additive producer LIQUI MOLY has announced that it has become an official partner to the European Athletics Indoor Championship in Poland. The move expands the company’s commitment to top-level sport.

The 36th European Athletics Indoor Championship will take place in Toruń, Poland, from 5 to 7 March. As at the Euro 2019 in Minsk, a striking new format will enhance the event, namely DNA (Dynamic New Athletics). This involves six countries entering their athletes in a two-hour competition that incorporates ten disciplines. The winners are those athletes who do best in the most disciplines.

As an "official partner" to the European Championship, the lubricant specialist's logo will be visible on four banners along the route covered by the main cameras, at the finish line and in the official athlete warm-up area. The video wall in the stadium will also show the German company's commercial. The package is rounded off with integration in all communication measures run by the European Championship organiser.

Marketing Manager Peter Baumann explains, "Sports sponsorship is an excellent match for our brand. Like the outstanding athletes, we at LIQUI MOLY always give our best. The extensive media coverage enables us to raise awareness of our brand."
