Irish auto parts, accessories and lubricants distributor, Carcessories, has signed an agreement to distribute Trico wiper blade products in Ireland. The agreement was signed at the Automechanika trade fair in Frankfurt, where Trico also showcased a number of new wiper innovations.

The new Trico Exact Fit wiper blade Factory Replacement Centre (FRC) was on display, which features a redesigned and widely expanded Trico Exact Fit range of front and rear wiper blades. This allows Trico to outfit nearly 99% of European vehicles with no adaptors required.

Trico is increasingly selected as OE fitment by the world’s leading vehicle manufacturers and its Exact Fit range delivers the same original factory replacement quality and performance. This is now achieved with the convenience of one product line, that includes all blade types including conventional, beam, hybrid and rear blades.

Also shown for the first time at Automechanika was the all-new Trico Force, a premium high-performance beam blade product line. This incorporates a patented swept-wing spoiler, the Trico Force, which controls airflow and converts force from winds up to and in excess of 220 kph into downward pressure for maximum windscreen contact.

For extreme winter weather conditions the Trico Ice, has also now been added. This is especially designed with a synthetic blended armour that protects the wiper components from ice and snow. Clear of obstruction, the Trico Ice blade delivers performance drivers can rely on even in the harshest weather conditions.

Trico has also expanded its Trico Flex multi-fit blade product line into 14 part numbers with the addition of blade lengths in 730mm, 750mm and 800mm. This delivers a universal fit wiper blade at competitive pricing offering a great way for retailers to upgrade drivers to the newest beam blade technology.
