With Autoinform Live, at the RDS in Dublin edging ever closer, one aspect of the training event that interests many garage owners is the insight it offers into how training can open up new opportunities for workshops. Ciaran Larkin, of Larkin Automotive in Finglas, attended the previous Irish AutoInform in Cork and he was very impressed with the excellent information and practical ideas, on how he could offer his customers additional and profitable services.

Ciaran believes the variety of sessions on offer, together with the expertise of the presenters, can allow a garage owner to assess new potential areas of business, such as DSG clutch replacement, automatic transmission servicing, hi-voltage systems and air-conditioning, see what is involved. Ciaran also found the whole weekend, and particularly the time between training seminars, very useful, as he got to chat to many like minded garage owners and exchange views and ideas.
