In the first few decades of its existence, “Süd-West-Autoteile GmbH”, established in 1954 in the town of Dietzenbach, Hesse, promoted itself as an international specialist in the engine technology sector. In 2000 the company was taken over by Ferdinand Bilstein GmbH + Co. KG and re-established under the company name “SWAG Autoteile GmbH”.
