Revive DPF kit aids regeneration

With many diesel cars being forced to stay closer to home this year, DPF issues have been a particular problem for garages. This is because in many instances the vehicles have failed to be regularly driven for an uninterrupted period at moderate speed, meaning the filters have not been able to successfully complete their required regeneration process.

Regeneration is vital to stop DPFs becoming clogged with clogged with soot. Vehicle manufacturers have developed different DPF regeneration strategies but essentially the temperature in the DPF has to be increased to the point where soot trapped in the core burns to ash. If this drive cycle does not happen regularly, soot will build up in the DPF. This causes vehicle power and performance issues and may get to a point where a warning light is triggered and the car goes into limp mode.

To help prevent such issues, Revive, renowned for its turbo cleaning solution, has developed Revive DPF, a product which will encourage automatic regeneration to work at a lower exhaust temperature, making it much more likely to succeed without an extended drive cycle. The Revive DPF kit is quick and easy to use and once Revive DPF has been applied, the high-tech particles in the fluid attach themselves to soot in the DPF core and will activate as soon as the exhaust temperature reaches the required level, helping to prevent the DPF from becoming blocked.

The new DPF Revive Kit is especially effective after a Revive Engine Clean process and can provide significantly reduce emissions and ensure smooth operating performance. It can also help to avoid the need for costly and inconvenient DPF cleaning or replacement.
