The Millers Oil stand at Automechanika featured a unique new take on oil filler bottles and the latest innovation attracted lots of attention.

The new 5 litre Millers Oil containers are the result of many hours of careful research, creative thinking and customer feedback. They now feature FLOWCONTROL, a new control valve designed to allow users to fill and top up engine oil without the use of a funnel.

Anyone who has ever poured oil from a standard 5 litre bottle will know that spillage is a common hazard, often resulting in mess and then later an oil burning smell. This can sometimes be avoided by use of a funnel, but these are not always to hand and even when they are, they have the potential for oil contamination.

FLOWCONTROL with its simple on-off valve mechanism allows oil to be easily poured with no mess and no waste. Users simply twist the valve to pour and twist back to stop.

As new packaging comes on stream, FLOWCONTROL will feature on most new Millers premium 5 litre oil products, including the  XF and EE ranges, with no addition to the price of the oil.
