Following the success of the Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation’s (IAAF) first ‘Industry Briefing Bitesize’ back in June, aftermarket professionals are being encouraged to sign up to a Zoom meeting, which will take a close look at how the pandemic has affected the industry and the opportunities that have emerged as a result.

The next session will be hosted by Mike Smallbone, IAAF head of membership development, and will take place on 23rd July, beginning at 10am until 11.30am.

Quentin Le Hetet, GiPA, will be the guest speaker, covering vehicle testing, the ageing car parc and how the aftermarket can capitalise on this. He will also discuss the electrification of the car parc moving forwards and the opportunities surrounding this development and the change in car usage, with more people relying on their personal vehicle to travel because of health concerns.

Hannah Lyon-Wall, director at Financial & Credit Insurance Services Limited) (FinCred IS), will also be speaking to members about trade credit risks in a Covid-19 world. There will also be an update on the latest IAAF activity from Wendy Williamson, IAAF chief executive.

To register for the event, please email anns@iaaf.co.uk.
