Prompt parts and profit opportunities from Toyota

One of the big challenges that Irish bodyshops continue to face is with parts availability. This can greatly delay the repair process, lead to customer frustration and, where the vehicle is off the road, add to car hire and storage costs.

With some vehicle manufacturers long delays on the availability of parts has almost become the norm, with repairers unable to start work until they have the last part of the repair jigsaw. While 100% availability across all parts can never be guaranteed, Toyota Ireland is in the vast majority of cases able to offer bodyshops promote access to the parts they need to complete a repair and get a car back on the road.

Throughout the problems of the pandemic and global logistical issues, Toyota has been able to maintain excellent stock availability to ensure minimal workflow delays. Importantly, Toyota dealers also have excellent access to parts for older Toyota models and so are able to provide prompt access and delivery on all genuine Toyota parts and panels, no matter what the vehicle age.

Toyota also supports the bodyshop sector in other ways, with the Toyota Write-Off Avoidance Programme being a prime example. This is designed to keep marginal uneconomical repairs on the road, by providing added discounts to allow a repair to be completed. This not only boosts bodyshop business but also saves Toyota drivers time, money and inconvenience.

The Toyota Write-Off Avoidance Programme offers bodyshops an excellent profit opportunity allowing them to repair cars that may otherwise be written off. With the trend towards keeping vehicles on the road for longer continuing, this programme is likely to be even more popular next year.

For more information on Toyota accident repair parts and the Write-Off Avoidance Programme, repairers should contact their local Toyota Dealer Parts Department, from the 46 strong nationwide Toyota dealer network.
