Vehicle lighting, auto electrics and accessories specialists Ring Automotive says that many motor factors are missing out on the lucrative towing sector and that it can assists them to make the most of this potential with a wide product range and bulk deals.


Connecting a trailer or a caravan to a vehicle was once something of a DIY job with a quick fit of a towbar or wiring loom. However, with vehicle design becoming more complex, specialist products are increasingly required such as towbars, towballs, relays and plugs and sockets for electrical wiring systems. Installation may mean disassembly of the vehicle’s bumper and trim and many modern vehicles require a CAN-bus rely system to ensure the vehicles electrics are talking to the trailer’s electrics.
