Toyota Write-off avoidance keeps cars on the road

With the cost of accident repairs generally rising across the board, there is ever more pressure on that grey area between a car being an economic write-off and economical to repair. It often comes down to a financial calculation by the insurance company, but the results are not always good for the parties involved.

While a damaged car may just be figures on a spreadsheet for the insurer, for the vehicle owner it is much more. It is their essential means of everyday mobility, a link to different aspects of their lives and often a cherished vehicle can have use and value far beyond just transportation. Take this resource away and the driver faces huge inconvenience trying to find and alternative, and in a market where used car values are high, it will usually mean a big financial outlay as the settlement offered by the insurer is likely to be very different to the actual cost of a replacement.

To the driver, having a car repaired and keeping it on the road will often make much more sense than writing it off and recognising this Toyota Ireland aims to save cars through it Write-off Avoidance Programme. This utilises extra discounts on Toyota genuine parts and works in close cooperation with insurance companies and repairers, to safely repair Toyota cars.

As well as offering great benefits to the vehicle owners, it also provides valuable extra work to bodyshops as well as environmental benefits through not having to scrap cars.

The Toyota Write-Off Avoidance Programme offers bodyshops an excellent profit opportunity allowing them to repair cars that may otherwise be written off. It is quick and easy to administer, with Toyota dealers able to provide prompt information on possible options to save a car.

If a bodyshop has an estimate on a Toyota which has been classed as uneconomical to repair, all they need to do is contact their local Toyota Dealer Parts Department with the details and the team will do everything they can to find the best solution for all parties involved.

For more information please contact a local Toyota Dealer Parts Department, from the 46 strong nationwide Toyota dealer network.
