Since its launch in 2018 the Car-O-Liner CTR9 fully automatic welding system has proved hugely popular with Irish bodyshops offering them the very latest welding technology and great flexibility in terms of the different types of materials that can be worked on. Now Car-O-liner has further boosted this flexibility by adding a new range of optional accessories. 

These accessories have been introduced based on direct feedback from repairers and are designed to make bodyshop welding operations easier and more efficient. They include a Top Shelf which is ideal for storing tools and electrodes so that they are always to hand, a Middle Shelf which is perfect for the consumables kit for the multi-function gun and a Bottom Self which holds the electrode kit. Also available are clips to keep the hose in place and a dust cover in tough polyester with a PU coating. 

The CTR9 has gained formal approval of many premium vehicle manufacturers since its launch and has helped to transform the welding process in many workshops making it faster, easier and more efficient. Its unique design offers total welding flexibility by allowing the technician to find the perfect position for almost any welding job. The equipment has a light-weight transformer gun with a 355° swivel handle and ergo-grip, which is supported by a fully adjustable telescopic arm. This means the gun is amazingly easy to manoeuvre and allows for welding in normally hard to access areas.

The intelligent CTR9 can automatically establish the required settings to ensure the proper weld nugget for the job and it can deliver up to 16,000 Amps power output. Control is made straightforward through an intuitive LED panel. 

The equipment can be upgraded using a USB port and has the option of special software which allows users to easily create work orders and document them in log files that can be printed off as required.
