Bodyshop equipment specialists Car-O-Liner have announced the premium vehicle manufacturer Jaguar / Land Rover has approved it CTR 9 welding system. 

The CTR 9 is fully automatic welder which comes with a new, light-weight transformer gun. With its 355° swivel handle and ergo-grip, it enables the technician to achieve a perfect working position for any job. The gun is supported by a telescopic arm in a durable and lightweight extruded aluminium that can be easily adjusted both vertically and horizontally.

Car-O-Liner is delighted to announce that the CTR 9 Resistance Spot Welder has received a global Jaguar/Land Rover approval. Jonny Jangdin, product manager at Car-O-Liner commented, “Jaguar/Land Rover recognises that the high performance CTR9 welder meets their requirements for high-quality repairs of their modern, technologically advanced vehicles.” 

In order to achieve this approval, the Car-O-Liner CTR 9 welder went through a Boronated Steel Resistance Spot Welder testing protocol which includes various structural and cross section tests. The tests were performed on different Boronated steel combinations to ensure the quality of the welds performance. The CTR 9 passed these tests with flying colours meeting the high quality welding requirements set by Jaguar/Land Rover.
