Connected cars, collision-damage management, e-mobility and car dealerships of the future, will be just some of the expert lectures at the Automechanika Academy 2014. This forms an important element of Automechanika Frankfurt, the World’s Leading Trade Fair for the Automotive Industry which takes place from September 16th to 20th.


The extensive programme of lectures featured at Automechanika covers a wide range of subjects with each lecture given by international experts in their field.

Some of the lecture highlights include;
  • Recruiting trainees for the automobile trade. - The presentation of an in-depth study by German academics on recruitment in the auto industry.
  • The Connected Car – A programme of lectures on the advantages of internal and external linkages for automobiles, including a presentation by Google.
  • Cutting CO2 emissions – Where speakers will present a variety of sustainable technologies for tomorrow’s mobility, as well as talk about developments in emissions legislation, the sustainability of internal-combustion engines and natural gas as an alternative fuel.
  • E-mobility – Discussing if the mainstream break-through is about to happen in the field of electric vehicles, including a look at the various technology advances.
  • Damage talk and networking – aimed at visitors from the boy repair sector including a chance to meet repair experts and a look at new body materials.
  • The car dealership of the future – looking at modern car dealerships and the balancing act between online trade and customer-friendly workshops. 
There will also be programmes covering subjects such as car cleaning and washing
