NGK Spark Plugs has revamped its website including a redesign of its home page as part of an ongoing suite of improvements aimed at delivering an enhanced experience for its independent garage and motor factor customers.

The redesign is the result of extensive visitor analysis which revealed that web traffic to the website at www.ngkntk.co.uk is increasing by approximately 20 percent year-on-year. The new design allows the most popular areas of the website to be presented in a more dynamic and engaging manner, all with a single click.

NGK Spark Plugs Marketing Manager Gerard Irving said, “Our online strategy is continually evolving as we look to deliver the most dynamic customer experience possible. We have several further enhancements we plan to introduce within the coming months.” He added, “Our research indicates that increasing numbers of consumers are visiting our website and we want to reward them with an environment that informs, entertains and engages them with rich content.”

The website contains a wide range of information about the company and its products and services in a format that is easy to navigate. It features a technical section with details of the NGK spark plugs, glow plugs and NTK sensor ranges, plus its recently launched ignition coils offering. In addition, there is an E-learning programme which is designed for technicians who want to find out more about the company’s products and what their functions are.

The website also contains the company’s comprehensive PartFinder service, and features the NGK independent garage and distributor loyalty schemes; BoxClever and milesmore. There are also details of NGK’s worldwide OE and motorsport partnerships, plus all the latest NGK news.

The revamped website can be found at www.ngkntk.co.uk
