Motorcycle racer Chrissy Rouse gave the NGK-sponsored Quinnstheprinters.com BMW by IMR team its second successive podium finish in the Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship with third place at Oulton Park recently.

Rouse made a great start and was leading the field until the final lap when a couple of mistakes meant he dropped to third just 0.982 seconds adrift of the race win. The result sees him remain in fourth place overall. He said: "I made a great start and made a few mistakes during the race but given the problems, I’m pleased to have been challenging for the win and to have taken some more strong points.”

The team now has a six-week break before round four of the series takes place at Snetterton on June 15-17.
