The latest group of technicians have completed their first Eure!Car Certified Master Class training programme at the Grup Eina International Technical Training Centre in Swords. The group was made up of customers from Murphy and Ryan Motor Factors in Thurles and completed the day and a half session based on a specially adapted Peugeot 308.

The latest training sessions are part of an intense programme set to take place right across Ireland between now and the end of the year. They have been organised by J&S Automotive in conjunction with a number of local motor factors. The training is based on specially adapted vehicles which have been linked up to a device called a Gedbox which can simulate many common vehicle faults. This allows technicians to diagnose, trace and resolve issues, while they are also encouraged to get hands on with the cars and diagnostic equipment as part of the training.

The Eure!Car Certified Master Class training aims to give independent garages the confidence, knowledge and access to information which will allow them to fix any car, no matter how advanced the vehicle is, or the type of problem it is exhibiting. Key to this is the post training back-up each technician has access to. This includes a technical telephone support line, staffed by training technicians who have full access to all vehicle manufacturer repair and service data, as well as a huge database of technical issues built up from Grup Eina International experience from its other active European call centres. Those attending training also receive a comprehensive workbook containing detailed wiring diagrams.
