Parts specialist febi has extended its Gas Springs portfolio with the introduction of Powered Strut Gas Springs for vehicles with automatic boot opening systems all in patented OE specification.

The service life of a gas spring can be severely impaired by several factors. In addition to frequent operation, strong temperature fluctuations, and debris causing scratches in the piston rod can lead to premature wear. The slow escape of gas can cause the strut to lose tension over a long period of use, this not only makes it more difficult to open the bonnet or boot but is also a safety-relevant factor as it can lead to the bonnet or boot closing on its own.

The new addition of 18 references will join a total Gas Spring range of more than 880 articles from febi, all with the assurance of a first time fit.

Febi is working with an OE supplier partner, who manufacture these OE-patented products. This means febi can guarantee OE-matching quality Powered Strut Gas Springs at all times.

febi are constantly analysing the Independent Aftermarket and regularly adding new products and solutions to the range. Gas Springs are no exception and this range will continue to grow successfully according to market requirements and technology developments; ensuring we provide you with the right parts, in the right place, at the right time.

You can find the complete overview of febi Gas Springs at: partsfinder.bilsteingroup.com. Parts are available from febi stockists.
