Equip Auto 2011, the biennial international business-to-business exhibition for automotive parts, systems and equipment, will take place at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition centre (France) from 11 to 15 October 2011.

The total exhibition space in 2011 will stand at 100,000 square metres – an increase of 25% on 2009 and to date 70% of that space has been booked.

For October 2011, Equip Auto is expecting 96,000 visitors and 1,800 exhibitors across all sectors. Several sector-leading companies, such as Continental Teves-VDO, ContiTech, Hella, Knorr Bremse, Mahle, Meritor, TI Automotive (vehicle equipment), Facom (tools), Washtec (car-wash equipment), have already signed up to the event.

Other participants already confirmed include Europa and Omia (auto body painting), which will participate in the Bodywork Village organised by the French Bodywork Association.

A number of equipment manufacturers, tooling suppliers and distribution groups including Autodistribution, Beru-Borgwarner, Bosch, Corteco-Freudenberg, Delphi, Hutchinson, Mann+Hummel, NTN-SNR roulements, Schaeffler, Starexcel (Autolia Group), Valeo and ZF Trading, will also be taking part.

In the diagnostics sector, Actia and Texa have also confirmed their presence. The garage-equipment sector will also be well represented, with EGI Europe, Fog, Förch, KS Tool, Provac, Ravaglioli and SNA Europe, all attending.

Equip Auto 2011 will host the second GreenTech Forum, which was first introduced in 2009, on electro mobility.
