Laser has introduced a new solution for the problem of corroded and seized nuts in the shape of its new Spanner Extension Wrench.

The company says that when a nut will not move, mechanics are often tempted to gain some extra leverage by attempting to use two spanners, hooking one over the end of the other. This is of course very dangerous. Using a proper spanner extension wrench such as the Laser Tools part number 6745 is not only more effective but also eliminates the risk of injury.

Laser says the tool effectively turns a spanner into a power bar. The extension wrench firmly grips the shaft of the spanner and thus extends the leverage and exerts a greater force on the fastener. It can also be used with hex keys and to loosen tight fasteners in hard to reach areas.

The extension wrench is manufactured from chrome vanadium steel for strength and is fully polished and chrome plated for comfortable use. It is now available from Laser stockists.
