MMO3 – On vehicle common rail diagnostics:
Most garages will have had difficulty in diagnosing common rail systems, as it can be hard to isolate a fault in such high-pressure systems. This is where the MMO3 comes in. It allows the independent running of pressure regulating valves, inlet metering valves, injectors and can test fuel pressure through the vehicles pressure sensor ensuring correct diagnosis before parts are repaired or replaced, The vehicle can also be put running and fuel pressure controlled via the MMO3 connected to the regulating valve, allowing an easy test of regulating valve and high-pressure pump. This unit works on all common rail systems: Bosch, Delphi, Denso and Siemens, and can activate both coil and piezo injectors.
