The latest Blue Print PROTIP highlights a common issue with certain Mazda models and how it can be solved with Blue Print components.
The problem is a squeaking noise coming from the suspension system when travelling over uneven surfaces after the anti roll bar bushes have been replaced or lubricated. Blue Print offers a simple replacement solution for the Mazda 2 2016 on, Mazda 3 2014 to 2016, Mazda 6 2014 to 2016, CX-3 2016 on, CX-5 2013 to 2016, and CX-9 2016 on.
The cause is that bushes for the vehicles listed above are designed to be of a grip type which have been incorporated for noise prevention purposes. If any type of grease or lubrication is applied to the bushes during installation, it may create noise due to the bushes slipping on the anti roll bar.
To prevent noise from occurring, Blue Prints says technicians should never apply any type of grease or lubrication to the front or rear anti roll bar bushes. When replacing, the anti roll bar bushes should always be clean and dry.
