Laser Tools has introduced a new solution to the often problematic job of cutting automotive battery cable. This cable is often not only hard to cut but it can be even more difficult to get an even, looking cut.

The Laser Tools Handy Cable Cutter (part number 6872) is designed to easily snip through automotive cable of up to 70mm². Laser say it is just as easy as using a pair of scissors and it leaves a neat, professionally cut cable. Removing the insulation is also easy and the tool includes a handy insulated terminal crimper, which makes very neat crimps.

The cutter blades are manufactured from highly corrosion-resistant SUS 420 J2 stainless steel, with the cutting edges hardened to 56 HRC (Rockwell scale). The handles are glassfibre reinforced nylon with TPV inserts for increased grip.
