JLM Pat Fluid is a universal aftermarket replacement for diesel particulate filter additives for all on-board fuel-borne catalyst systems. It aids regeneration of particulate filters in diesel passenger cars and vans, lowering the combustion temperature. It is compatible with all makes and models of vehicles from 2001 onwards and can be used in conjunction with the JLM universal refilling kit.

Diesel particulate filters (DPFs) are an increasingly common exhaust system part on diesel vehicles to reduce emissions of soot particles. To aid the periodical regeneration of soot particles that are trapped in the particulate filter, cars equipped with an on-board dosing unit (e.g. Peugeot/Citroën, Ford, Volkswagen/Audi, Volvo, Mazda) carry a special catalyst fluid in a tank or bag. At some point in the lifetime of the car, this will need to be refilled.

Used together with the JLM PatFluid Refill Kit, both cars equipped with an additive tank and ones with a reservoir bag can be refilled easily.
