The new bilstein group experience vehicle, nicknamed ‘BEV’ for short, is visiting workshops all over Ireland in May and June, showcasing the latest components and solutions available from the febi and Blue Print parts brands.

The impressively kitted out BEV features interactive TV’s, complimentary drinks, chocolate and merchandise, drawers with febi, febPLUS and Blue Print parts on display, technical literature on the walls, and a seating area for visitors to ask the team any questions about the brands and parts. It also has access to the massive partsfinder online catalogue.

Ronan Conneally, bilstein group Business Development Manager in Ireland, comments, “The BEV not only provides a way for us to show workshops what we have to offer from the febi and Blue Print brands, but also for us to get feedback from technicians about the problems they are encountering, the type of repairs they are doing and what we can do to provide them with an even better service.”

Ronan says a particular focus of the visits will be the febiPLUS range. This provides garages with access to parts that are required for common repairs, that they may believe are only available from dealers. He says, “The feedback we are getting from garages on febiPLUS is very positive. We are able to supply items such as clock springs, door handles, manifolds and much more, through local factors at very competitive prices and this can save garages time and money.”

Blue Print is also filling many niche gaps in demand, with parts that garages may assume are dealer only. A prime example of this is its range of air filters for traction battery compartments. These are crucial for the cooling of hybrid vehicles and the Blue Print range covers a wide range of vehicles, including Toyota hybrids which are some of Ireland’s most popular cars.

Ronan points out, “febi and Blue Print offer a huge range of parts and as well as all the normal service and repair items we often offer components that you might not expect. The great thing is that our partfsinder online catalogue can provide a very quick and easy way to check.” Ronan adds, “partsfinder is the only online catalogue especially tailored to the needs of the Irish market and the BEV visits will provide an opportunity to show garages how they can make the most of this unique digital tool.”

The BEV tour of Ireland is as follows:
  • May 26th – 30th - East of Ireland
  • June 3rd – 6th - South of Ireland
  • June 9th – 13th - North West
