Bodyshop abrasives and equipment specialist Mirka has introduced two new cordless sanders designed for maximum mobility. They are lightweight, low-vibration tools which provide greater material removal than a denibber but less than a traditional grinder.

Both the AROS-B 325 and AROS-B 350 sanders feature a 77 mm (3”) backing pad. The difference between the two machines is the sanding orbit. AROS-B 325 has a 2.5 mm orbit, making it the top choice for detailed sanding applications, while the AROS-B 350 offers a 5 mm orbit for a more aggressive cut.

Both sanders offer:
Cordless Mobility, with a battery-powered design for maximum flexibility and ease of use in tight or hard-to-reach areas.
Low vibration design, built for user comfort, minimising fatigue during detailed or extended sanding tasks.
Wet sanding capability. Thanks to careful design, these sanders are shielded from dust and water and perfectly suited for wet sanding applications like post-paint sanding and denibbing.

The sanders have a host of applications in accident repair, including; spot repair, primer preparation, and post-paint sanding, plus surface finishing and refinishing.
