Nowadays almost every recent car model is equipped with an overrunning alternator pulley.  The Gates range of overrunning alternator pulleys covers all major models in the market. The current range offers 84 references of OE-fit overrunning alternator pulleys.  In view of their ‘one-stop-shop’ philosophy, Gates also offers a professional tool kit for fast and easy removal and installation of these pulleys.

Because overrunning alternator pulleys perform such a key function in the accessory belt drive system, Gates recommends replacing this component as part of every accessory belt drive overhaul. It is also advisable to replace the overrunning alternator pulley when a new alternator is installed.
