The NAPA stand was one of the busiest at Automechanika Birmingham, throughout the three day event. Visitors could talk to the team about the huge NAPA product range as well as the company’s 100 years celebrations. They could also see NAPA racing vehicles and get a birds-eye view of the NEC from the first story lounge area.

One brand attracting special attention was UniClutch, which has made a big impact with Alliance Automotive Logistics customers in Ireland. It is a twin disc clutch system which can massively increase torque capacity, whilst maintaining OE levels of refinement. It is available for daily drive applications through to motorsports and off-road vehicles.

As a totally sealed system it does not use the vehicle’s flywheel as a friction surface, so provided the flywheel and ring gear are mechanically functional, the flywheel doesn’t need replacement or machining, significantly saving time and money. This enables UniClutch to offer exceptional value for money, in some cases less than half the price of a traditional twin disc solution. UniClutch does not require any vehicle modification and also reuses the OEM bearing or CSC.

The range is distributed in Ireland by Alliance Automotive Logistics and available from motor factor stockists.
